What will you do?

As a Senior Software Test Engineer at Alfen, you will focus on developing and improving testing processes for our energy storage systems. You will work on cutting-edge technologies such as fast-charging stations, energy storage systems, and smart grids. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will test and validate high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs and market requirements.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Improving testing processes, developing test protocols, and executing tests within the Agile Scrum process;

  • Conducting system-level testing for releases;

  • Contributing to test automation using Python;

  • Writing test plans and preparing test reports;

  • Developing and maintaining complex test setups.

What do we ask of you?

For a good match, we are looking for a software test professional with a hands-on, results-driven, and structured approach. Someone who can communicate effectively at all levels and create support for your technical solutions and innovations. Additionally:

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field;

  • At least 5 years of experience in a testing environment;

  • Knowledge of test automation using Python;

  • Experience in developing and building embedded test setups;

  • Proficiency in writing test plans and test scenarios.

  • Currently living in The Netherlands.
